Lister use Judd 5.5 and 2006 bodywork
just read an interesting update on DSC about the new Lister prototype.......it will use the Judd 5.5 and pescarolo 2006 bodywork, all on the new pescarolo2007 tub.......design work is being done by Peter Elleray......wont be ready for sebring......sounds like it will be quite some package........no surprise listers dropped their own engine programme.

Lister just got delivery of their tub from Pescarolo , according to DSC , and rear wing , diffuser and floor pan . The big man is over the moon aparently .
In one of the pics there is what looks to be a GT1 car under wraps and will remain unidentified according to the article . Im sure its a Porsche 911 GT1 !!! |

Interesting tub and conservative and looks pretty generic. Not sure I like the steel rollover hoops as the support seem to limit the possible dimensions for the airbox. It would be nice to do a comparison between the various tubs ie. pesca, courage, creation, lola etc.

I would personally put more faith in the strength of steel for a roll hoop over carbon , for that sheer load anyway . Plus , you cant tell if its cracked , unless you can see it .
Good question for Mr.Ellary . |

Why would a 911-GT1 be in the posession of Lister? doesn't make a lot of sense to me...? I've not seen the article, nor the appropriate pictures, but could it not just be a Storm GTL or something?
