What's the quality like on Solido models? Do you know if they do any other group B cars? |

What is the popularity of rally cars compared to race cars? I helped a mate out at a model fair at the NEC a couple of years ago when he was selling his collection to finance a divorce and the rally cars were ridiculously quick sellers! Did we simply under value the models or is there a huge market for them?

I've got quite a few rally models but they are mostly of the Group B cars, the WRC's aren't as charismatic. The Group B cars look fast even when they're just models sitting on a shelf - taking the two cars shown above C4 vs 205 T16 Evo2 - the 205 looks like an absolute animal of a car whilst the C4 is a bit too understated, maybe even a bit "max power"? It just doesn't have the sheer presence of the Group B cars

They're similar to an early Autoart, i.e. the Corolla and Focus WRC's, display very well. I'm not aware of any other Solido Group B cars, but the 205 is still new, and they have three of those announced already. They've also announced the Corolla Trophy Andros car. I'd put money on them making other Group B cars such as the the Delta S4 and RS200. |

Grand Prix Legends does the full range so long as your willing to shop there (I know a few members of this forum avoid it like the plague)
