Two things I'll always remember from that year:
Ice being thrown over the Aston drivers during pit-stops A bag of apples I'd brought being cooked in my tent by the heat. |

I'll remember the absurd amount of water we consumed and part of the group proudly showing up on Sunday under the main grandstands with beach equipment/infrastructure bought in desperation and refusing to move until 16.00

In Spain usually rains a lot in April -not in March or May, only in April- and this year it´s raining more and heavy than usual. In Valencia will rain all the week (including Friday) but I haven´t got info for next weekend yet.

Pescarolo will show a new bodywork for their first car (number 16).
Is there any news? |

Oh no !!!! Here in in Paris/France it's still a warmy weather(with sometimes thunder by the evening) Anyway, if it rains in Valencia it'll bring more new useful datas to Peugeot-Sport about the road handling of the 908s on wet circuits... |

Why??? See a race in rain is always very interesting. The race conditions are completly different; we can have a spectacular race! ...and who knows, the rain can help Pescarolo, Zytek or Swiss Spirit to beat Peugeot |

Was only a joke; the rain would have to reduce the difference between the cars, and the drivers are the real protagonists of the race, but you know, Peugeot has very good drivers. Will be difficult to beat them, in rain or not. |

Why of course? I guess I should ask, does it have a working traction control?

Don´t get angry, english isn´t my own language, maybe "of course" sounds very hard. Sorry if I offend you.

I was just thinking that the Audi R10 "had" traction control, they just didn't use it at first. I wonder if the same applies for the 908.

908 is equipped with a traction control system, and they used it at Monza, but as B. Famin (Peugeot Technical Director) said some weeks ago, they'II try to use it for Valencia as little as possible (to keep the engine´s torque, I suppouse).

I hope its not going to rain, off out there tomorrow looking after one of the historics...
I think most of the LMP cars will have traction/launch control now, seeing as its a disadvantage if you dont! |

Working on a T212 Lola, was at Monza but didnt have too good a race, probably the shortest one Ive had! Dont need rain as we dont have the luxury of a garage, all done from under an awning!

If André drive for Luc Alphand, who´s the new driver for Noel del Bello?
Maybe Del Bello will race with V. Petrov and J. M. Gounon only. Any news? |
