The design and development of the DP1 (4wd gokart/mini racecar)
Came across this site which details the whole concept, design and development of the DP1, a true mid engined, carbon fibre bodied, 4wd, mini-sized go-kart/racecar powered by a 2.8 litre Hayabusa derived Hartley V8, giving it a power/weight ratio of 970 hp/metric ton.

He was, for a time, very interested in getting his car in Live for Speed (the PC simulation) to see how it drove. He seemed to know his stuff, and was happy to discuss a lot of it openly on the LFS forum.
Not heard from or about him for a while now though. I had some performance data from his datalogger for a time, which showed very good performance! |
