As much as I hate overdoing movie remastering (a la what George Lucas keeps doing), the low sound quality especially in the onboard scenes is a shame. Then again retouching might take away some of the authenticity. The dvd release is kinda old already, but I wouldn't expect new one anytime soon though.

Yah but the driving and on board shots are fantastic.
I recorded it. My wife watched it together and she loved the old cars. She was better at getting the names and models then I was, |

Those day's haven't totally ended. Those cars still exist and there are people who still take them out to tracks and put on a good show with them. Just like my friends and my Dad and I enjoy old cars and engines too. Flat head Fords, and inline flat head sixes, 283s and others are still enjoyed regularly. Don't complain about how the good old days are gone. Help keep the spirt alive by supporting historic racing events and letting the rest of the world know when LeMans is coming on TV. I missed it but I appreciate the consideration.

TRuss, abolutely, keep the spirit alive! |

You can even see the same cars, at Le Mans.
Le Mans Classic is next due in July 2010... This year I had 2 Gulf, 1 Martini, and a plain white, 917. And a 512S. All racing. Yum, yum! |
