Who will win the 12Hour?

So we're only weeks away and the entry list has been published.

Who will win it this year?

Edit: Didn't know how to set up a poll, but worked it out. You will need to select from the list now Davelise, sorry.

I'd love to see BMW stalwart Searle back up the class win with an outright go in the 335i

out of that pick #25 as the Castle Subie in 08 was on the money at each event....but then an outsider could take the honours as don't under estimate one of the Taxi's......

36 Mazda 3 MPS 3A Jake Camilleri, Scott Nicholas ( I wish!)

#34 Bargwanna, Crompton, Jones Evo 10 - I think is a good driver combo if they arent too harsh on the Evo.

In E-News, Seton said he'd be pairing up with Neil Crompton, not Steve Knight

I think a lot will depend on how the new Evo 10's hold up around the Mountain. #29 was a bullet last year, and expect it to be this year with Klark at the wheel. Tony will also hold up his end of the deal. Unfortunately, I can't see them winning with the whole Denyer situation(if it's all as bad as they say it is. I hope they win, but I can't see it happening.
I would have to go for one of the Pro-Duct cars - depending on who drives which car. I think there'll be a bit of driver swapping before the race.
My car horse is car #9 Hollings/Miedecke(G)/Caratti(N)

Well Jeremy Clarkson nearly got a drive in a ute there, according to enews. Seeing as he can't make it due to the hong kong leg of the top gear world tour, it is customary to subsitute one of the presenters with their tame racing driver... THE STIG.

So whatever car he is in, it will win. He will not be pleased if any humanoids beat him.

"Some say that his tears are adhesive, and that if he caught fire he would burn for 1,000 days. All we know is, he's called The Stig."

Go Figure..

So, the teams that finished 1st and 2nd last year have registered the lowest number of votes so far. Interesting outcome.

I know that Denyer is a roughie to actually start, and in the #1 Alexander has been dropped - but replaced with Tony Longhurst, so I don't think that will send them backwards!!

With having won last years race and with a new Ralliart Evo10 that the team have already tested at Bathurst (in December) I think they would go in favourites.

Well they're my tip, but actually I don't care who wins..I just think it will be a spectacular race with great depth in the outright class. Last year Morris, White and Quinn were scrapping side by side into turn 2 lap 1 (12hr race remember) and Morris folded Whites mirror back as they duelled into the braking area.

Bring it on...Imagine this year into turn 2 with the talent sitting on the grid!

I think some people have been star****ed by the big names on a quick car. Not that they can't get the job done, but some posters probably lack imagination.

Good point. We should remember that it wasn't long ago that ole Tone got the call from HRT to fill in for Mark ''OMG my appendix. Ow!'' Skaife.

Could be argued that they didn't win last year's race so much as inherit it from the Quinn/Quinn/Denyer car, with its PLPs and gift pass opportinity at the death. IMO some people, self included, are 'over' the saturation of Evos in Aus motorsport. They're good gadgets to be sure, but I'd like to see something different win, be it a BMW, Commo or the 'shaggin.

The first laps will be epic for sure. I just hope the rest of the race is close too.

My tip is #34, thats a good driver lineup there.

I'd love to see the HSV Tourer R8 shopping wagon win, that would be quite funny me thinks, they've got the drivers in there but its such a big heavy car, hoping the HSV stoppers can do the job.

I'll be keeping an eye on the V8 utes class, that ought to be a fine battle.

I'd be keeping an eye on the G.Keogh cars - there's some talent, and with Cam McLean and Phil Curtis prepping them, they'll be good to watch.
#23 - Briffa/Zukanovic/Sipp
#32 - Keogh/Brewer/Emery

The problem is GtiM that you don't have an other option. I think, depending on weather, safety cars and just blind luck you could look a long way down the class srtucture for a winner.
That's a problem? It's a problem I wish we had in a few more races.
Outside punt, the Lotus, most likely one of 5 Evos or the Eastern Creek BMW.
Anyway I'm outa here on the way down on Tuesday, wouldn't miss a real Bathurst for quids.

Jake Camilleri could be a threat for a top 10 finish even a top 5 if all goes well with the MPS 3.....no rolling..
