Renault F7R info - Help needed

Hi!

Im planning to build a simulation model for the Renault F7R standard engine a friend Im helping has mounted in a sport proto series he races arround here.

The series states you can do anything to the engine, but Max Power must be 150BHP to the wheel (roll dyno) and 200Nm of torque. The standard F7R already is close to these figures, so thats why he uses it, cheap and reliable

My intention is to tune the torque curve to make it wider across the RPM range.

My problem is that I have measured what I could from an old broken engine, but I dont have the exact figures from the cam profile.

If somebody has info of intake and exhaust valve open and close points, dwell at max, valve lift, etc, etc... please could you tell me?

Is it like this?

Application: Race
Power Band: 4500-8500 rpm
Cam Lift(mm): 11.98
Valve Lift(mm): 11.73
Duration: 314 Deg
Timing: 53/83 81/53
Full Lift: I 104 Deg E 104 Deg
VC (mm): 0.25
LTDC: I 3.83mm E 3.70mm

The problem is that application is for tunned racing engines, so those figures have to be modelled with the proper headers modifications, intake and exhaust ducts, etc, etc.

I intend to race a standard F7R because the rules states 150HP to the wheel and 200Nm torque to the wheel. That race engine may pump arround 250HP.... and the standard has:
Power Band: 4000-6500 rpm
Cam Lift (mm): 9

So that data is usless to me right now

Is there anyway that a Renault dealer would have the data I need??

No, nothing on wikipedia nor in the several Renault fans pages/forums I have visited

I have modelled the exhaust and intake pipes I have got in the race car and I have modelled the cams in order to achieve a similar curve to the one I have from the roll dyno.

The lift is 9mm (measured on an old cam I could get) and the cam timing diagram was something like this:

Max Lift 9mm
Intake open 12 / close 58
Exhaust open 58 / close 12

you gave me woody, and it has given me 4KW more at 6000 rpm.

Torque curve is steeper at the beginning with 5Nm less at 4000rpm and flater at arround 6000rpm with 7Nm more... what leads me to think that that cam is for a less Std and more "revy" engine use.

150 hp at the wheels and you cam is going to be pretty short for a motor like that (they are fairly big valve IIRC) I am thinking something like 10 mm lift and not much more than the 260 mark. ( so not a big change from the standard)
make sure the induction and extractor are pretty small (even undersized) to hold the torque flatter for longer even though it will strangle to top.
I think cam timing will be critical on the dyno, keep it pretty wide.
