I'm on the latter and don't get anything, so if they use that it doesn't go to everybody.

They are already out - download a form from the BMMC website, but be quick, they are due in fairly soon.

Richard Duvall should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was initially turned down for this years Grand Prix and got a late call up when they decided they needed more marshals for the revised circuit. I had to send an acceptance back fairly sharply (in May). I've put my volunteer form in for 2011. I'm going to be out of the country for a while around the turn of the year; does anyone know when the letters will be sent out and the date the acceptance must be in by?

The selection meeting is usually around the middle to the end of January with letters coming out within a week or two of that.

CLOSING DAY TODAY for all BMMC applications.

I will be collating all those received before forwarding to the MSA after the club has verified the applications.

If you have not sent your application in yet I suggest you e-mail me NOW!

Well it's a good job I glanced in here, hadn't realised today was closing day, and not had a form from any club.

But now marshals.co.uk is down, so I can't download the form anyway. Email sent to Chris in the meantime.

Pfft.

Mike,

Chris

p.s. this is not setting a precedent for everyone to check if I have received their forms - I now have to review and extract all your details - anyone with 48 hours in a day?????????

6. If anyone is not a member of an MSA recognised club but is a marshal let me have your forms and I will forward them as I do our own
Thanks to your generous offer to forward on forms of marshalls not a member of a MSA recognised club Mrs Pitstop has been invited to marshall at the Grand Prix. Which means I get a weekend arm band on the condition I make and bring sandwiches to her on post So you have made 2 people happy, thanks again.

We haven't done the GP for a long while now but I remember from the old days that when Bill was at Farm he used to leave his shower until the mid-morning break to avoid the crowds (when the campsite was just across the bridge) and I used to deliver his lunch to him around mid-day, having woken up from doing the night fire patrol. (The bikes are still in the garage but....)

BTW - Bill did Farm at least 2 years on the trot.

Happy days, glad I had them but now even gladder to watch the event on TV!!!!
