wrap or respray?

In the process of getting several layers of paint stripped off my formula Renault. Not sure which way to go either get the car wrapped in vinyl or resprayed...what's people doing these days, also drawbacks of wrapping?

Wrapping is lighter but looks scruffier quicker, especially around complicated areas where you end up with joins, and hot areas - can bubble up.

They don't gleam or shine quite as nicely as painted cars either.

Good point, what have you done with your carsfrotm last year? Did you paint them?

The F3 cup car was wrapped. The Mono cars were painted.

There are pros and cons to both. If every gram is important, strip back to carbon and wrap. If less of a concern, paint gives a nicer finish and lasts longer - but cover some areas with armorfend or similar

The F3 cup cars did look good, who did you use to do the wrap?

I am thinking of doing a wrap on the IROC-Z, always fancied white. I cannot do a spray in my garage but can certainly do a wrap! There is some great media on the market now that has air escape grooves in the adhesive you can literal throw it at the car and get no bubbles in it!
