Probably too early to get excited about this yet, but with the names involved I think this has a pretty good chance of coming to fruition.

I would imagine they will only sell 4 of them and keep the last 2 as spares. They already sold 2 to ESM right?

Here is a way to early shot at an entry list for the Prototype category for TUSC 2015:
Could Oak be back? or other teams running the Ligier or Oreca or Dome? |

The team has been disbanded, and the circle of justice appears to be around Tucker's neck pretty tight.

OAK Racing is here in 2014 to get potential entries for next year right? So I hope at least one team buys a Morgan LM P2.
A sub-par American sportscar championship is better for the health of global sportscar racing than not having one. |

Do you think there will be any new DP entries? I personally think no. That it will be the same Corvettte and Ford teams we have this year.

Then why is esm and Andretti looking to buy the hpd P2s,and 8 star the oak?unless those will be grandfathered in because I haven't read anything yet implying that the arx-04b will be built to the new P2 specs.

I think for 2015 IMSA should let GTD cars carry their own customized rear wings and allow ABS/TC. This will make the class more attractive overall and to GT3 teams. I think even the Porsche GT America can have this done.

Ideas for 2015 schedule? I got this in mind:
1. Daytona 24 2. Sebring 12 3. Long Beach (P/GTLM) 4. Laguna seca (P/GTLM) (LMPC/GTD) 5. Detroit (P/LMPC) 6. Lime Rock (GTD) 7. Watkins Glen 8. Mosport (GTLM/GTD) (P/LMPC) 9. Indy (maybe split class this one? would be nice to have a stand alone weekend too) 10. COTA 11. Road America 12. VIR (GTLM/GTD) 13. Petit Le Mans |

Facts:
1)They was going to order cars(they tested the new HPD P1 engine at Daytona in their ARX-03 Jan 2013) 2)But first the car was delayed to June 2014 and the ERS until 2015. 3)Behind the scenes the P1 program became a factory effort. The engine is now a Honda R&D Japan project and not HPD with Mclaren taking over the chassis. This is one of many reason why the HPD boss stepped down. |
