Damn, I was looking to getting a ticket for Turn 1. All the stands and do they have an exemption for semi-ex pats?

Turn 3 has become prime overtaking-real estate with the DW12. Might be worth looking there?
As a first-timer in 2013, I got seats low down in Stand A, opposite the timing pylon. Great view of pit road and a TV screen, but with the viewing angles through the catch-fence, the cars did rather flash by. |

stuff as well. Being 5 or 6 rows from the fence you could just barely see the top of the rollbar and picked them up going into 1. Have to get there next year for the 100th. Its been 23 years so I am due. |

Haha, it doesn't hurt to call. You can apply for 3 different stands right now, in order of preference. I chose A upper, A lower (front straight by turn 1) and Stand J (turn 4).

Good to see that they have good TV numbers in the blackout region I guess. I still don't understand the rationale though. Wouldn't the 500 sell out regardless of whether it was being shown on local TV?
Apologies if this has been discussed to death elsewhere. |

The 500 hasn't sold out since the mid 90's. On race day you could still by blocks of 20 tickets.
