And that's what competition is about! Ferrari is not there to make life easy for Williams... Mclaren didn't do Ferrari any favours in 1998 did they?

Yes, I agree with you Gt_R. I do not at all even begin to enjoy the current level of competition, but I know that it WILL end. Just like Mclaren in 1988...

It's not similar. In 1998 they had to cope with drastic regulations changes. Not grooves, but narrower cars. Some got it right from the beginning. Not "some". McLaren got it right. The others had to correct the initial design flaws. That's not the case anymore, since the regs are fairly stable. Only minor improvements can be made but do not assume that Ferrari will sleep and wait the others.

I belive in a way the head question of the topic says it all: "How can this 'one team domination' thing be stopped?"
Take that "one man" out and we will have a close race between the rest drivers! 1 Schumacher M 106 2 Montoya 40 3 Schumacher R 36 4 Barrichello 35 5 Coulthard 32 |

Not to mention penalizing teams who do not have their own windtunnels from furthering their development of the car. |
