I'd guess Haase didn't know Daly was going through ... no way he was trying to shut the door.

That fence situation looks bad. Not sure if this race can get restarted.

Can Blekemoolen get to Cameron, who must surely be saving fuel at this point (90+ laps I make it on this stint?)
No he can't, amazing result for the team from a near-wrecked car to winning GTD. Congrats to TKS for the PC victory. |

Just caught the last 10 minutes that was pretty exciting and GTD.

A little bad luck, a little bad driving ... a lot of good racing. GTD/PC works really well, at least on a track as tight as Lime Rock.

Decent race. Star of this show was Lime Rock.

The number of incidents involving contact between PCs and GTDs was a negative factor though (however not a surprise), it's about time race control puts their money where their mouth is - covering the subject in the drivers meeting and issue warnings doesn't really cut it when no actions for on track scrimmages are being taken.... Other than that, yes, the PC + GTD format works quite well but I still prefer a GT only race at this venue - as a bonus IMSA could let them run the old course without the crappy chicane (which seemed to trigger some contact as well). |

At least that dumbass chicane at the west bend is "ornamental" these days. |

Trans Am still uses the old lay out (as recently as last Memorial Day weekend) - if those big silhouette muscle cars can do it, so can the GTs - and protos too!

It's sketchy as in a PWC GT car, saw the HAWK Performance GTR get all four wheels off, land, bounce, get all four wheels off again, then land and go away. You'd probably get antics through the uphill equal to the Vipers at VIR last year. |
