I thought he was pretty leniently treated, despite his remarks that he will not appeal the penalty because he has "no confidence in the stewards."
Guess that means he will start the race fit or not so that the penalty has been served. |

KTM are now definitely a force in the championship. Let’s see what Pol can do tomorrow

Marc Marquez out for another 2 - 3 months.
https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/94...ther-23-months Should just call it quits this year and come back fit for next season. |

Massive shame for him, even if the championship is now more open in his absence. Hopefully we'll see him back at the end of the season

Incredible race in Austria today (again). Ticked all conceivable boxes on great racing and produced yet another first-time MotoGP winner. Fantastic.

Maverick had a bit of an exit, never seen anybody get off like that, 215 km/h! The protection provided by modern motorcycle gear is amazing. |

What a finish it was, Oliveira didn’t look like having a look in, but took his opportunity at the last corner.
Lucky escape from Maverick |

Wow at long last John McPhee wins the Moto3 at San Marino, he rode the perfect race this time and kept out of trouble on that last lap.
As for the MotoGP it could be a real lottery for a winner although Vinales is on pole |

Well Morbidelli it was who took the lead ahead of Rossi, the old boy hung on to second for most of the race but had to finish in 4th in the end behind Bagnaia in second (riding with a broken leg) and Mir in third.

I wouldn’t know, for some reason Quest didn’t show highlights tonight, despite it being advertised

MotoGP 2020
Yet another winner and the championship is still as tight as ever. Shame about Bagnaia, but he had done a good job up to that point. Hopefully Barcelona will give us more great stories to come away from

Well Quartararo did manage to hang on and have the win in the MotoGP with some of the others falling by the wayside including Rossi. I think McPhee was trying too hard again this time and put himself out in Moto3.

I think we were all rooting for VR in that race, these tyre limitations make a mockery of the racing.

Shame for the Doctor for it to end like that. Dovi really paid for that low grid position didn't he? I still wouldn't want to predict the champion at this stage

One thing, at least we have seen different winners this season and some different makes up the front including Suzuki. I just wonder if Marquez will still have that "gung ho" approach when he returns ? or has this last episode made him think that maybe he can't always get away with it ?
I still sit on the edge of the sofa watching Moto3 and sometimes stand up and get nearer the TV for that last lap |

Moto 3 has it for me, fantastic racing, scraps going on all over the place and the winner is anyones guess! The top class even with Marquez snr. absent is too tyre dependent these days as are so many other series including F1. Give 'em some rock hard Town and Country's and let the riders/drivers sort it out!

Anyone who predicted a win for Petrucci and Alex 2nd is a magician! Pity about VR taking a tumble on the first lap, he could have been a contender in the conditions, really weird that his rear just went away from him without warning and he didn't appear to spin it up.

I felt for Jake Dixon who was on for the win after his amazing form in the last couple of races but well done Sam. Pity for McPhee who seems to be having bad luck of late. |
