Seems that the last race in Aragon will be run on a different layout:
https://www.fiawtcr.com/wtcr-title-s...n-karl-vernay/ “The new track layout will change a bit what happens because it will be better for everyone and the Honda will be much quicker, also with the drop of 30 kilos. The Hyundai will again be competitive so it will be much more tight. |

Let's hope it provides good racing. It's an interesting circuit, hopefully we'll see plenty of different cars up there. It should be a good title fight. Looking forward to it

Just watched race 1. Very ticky conditions, no grip.

Congratulations to Yann! Sadly didn't get to see any races this year but from what I've seen of him he's a deserving champion.
Still think the whole 'king' idea is painfully bad. |

Nothing wrong with Errlacher as champion although (out of my head) I rate Guerrieri higher but he had a few DNF's because of technical problems.
In race 2 lot of door against door racing. Shame Guerrieri was already out after one lap. |

Good to see Ehrlacher champion but he can improve a lot!
It was a good season but not as competitive as the last two (2018-2019). And for sure the Hyundai this year were highly uncompetitive! |

I think Eurosport is a great channel, but they seem to let themselves down, especially with how they broadcast this series. Too much emphasis on stuff doesn’t matter
Still it’s nice that Yann can join his uncle in being a World Touring car Champion, he did all he could. Despite problems, this series has it’s moments, although hopefully we can have an even better season next year. I have a feeling we will. More top quality drivers would help, but it all depends on what happens with certain teams and drivers |

In regard of this championship, well it was so compacted that even a DNF could compromise the season! It was the case of Esteban Guerrieri, very fast but also immediately unlucky in Zolder where he suffered the engine blow... A part the argentinian Ehrlacher was the most competitive driver. Vernay with the Alfa returned to his level and concluded third with the indipendet trophy win! The young belgian Magnus score some interesting results The Hyundai were highly uncompetitive throughout the season! This was a big blow for the championship because Michelisz has been never in contention for the high ranks positions and the same was for Tarquini, Engstler and Catsburg. Urrutia show good perfomances in the last thres spanish round so I hope he can continue with Cyan In my opinion: - ECU problems needs to be solved. All the cars must race with the same ECU otherwise is better to return with the old BOP application - Compensation weights need to be dropped or adjusted. I think for WTCR is better to use a ballast sistem like old WTCC or maybe to drop totally this sistem |

¡Uruguay nomás!
I hope that Santi Urrutia gets a second season at Lynk. |

I can’t wait to see what happens next season, hope it all goes well. As long as there are plenty of top drivers in seats, especially from all over the world

IMO the season was pretty good.
Happy for Jean-Karl Vernay and the Romeo Ferraris team. |

Ehrlacher was impressive this season. He never had any spectacular performances, but he was consistent and didn't make many mistakes. Which is rare for young drivers. I remember in his first season he had a reverse grid win in the Lada, which was a sign of things to come. Most young drivers with the reverse grid pole fall down the grid quickly, but he kept his cool.

It's not an official FIA World Championship title.
