Thats half the reason im sitting here on the net and not out racing, the cost. I actully looked into building a 1600 for group Nc with some mates of mine at Z16 in sydney, but i meet my wife and you know how it goes. I'll get back into it one day though.
You never build your own car, it costs too much money,buy someone elses. I have a mate who has built a suzuki swift Gti club car and he is probably over the $40000 mark and the thing is knowhere, but he could have bought an ex GTP car for $12000 and been in just about the same position.
