Today there were some very objectionable postings in the F1 forum. AMoffat as a new Administrator was right on top of the situation, and I would like to give him credit for the way in which he handled this.

I would like to add to this thread with a suggestion: I had noticed the objectionable thread posted by a new commer to this forum who came with an objectionable nickname. I was frantically looking for admin to not only delete his post, but his nickname and the thread as well. I found AM and he told me that he had been mopping up for over two hours after this guy but was unable to delete his nickname. Perhaps someone in admin could check all new nicks to ensure that no one can sneak in with a rude or obscene nickname.

We had this come up before with someone who registered as a certain portion of Jacques' anatomy. I got on the e-mail and scared him into fleeing for his life but I don't think it has happened since then. Perhaps this is something we Admins ought to discuss?
