rustywallacefan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Junior Members

Hi there!

I signed up here ages ago, and forgot about this forum. However, I did make a post promoting my website in Cool Links.

Now when I tried to post I got a message saying I was forbidden until I had made 100 posts in the General Motorsport areas.

First of all, I find this 100% understandable. I mean, I actually signed up, promoted my site and left, rather selfishly. But I can also understand people causing trouble as well.

But if you ask me, saying people have to make 100 posts is another way of causing problems. Surely people will just make pointless posts and spam madly to gain access to this area?

I dunno how well it is working out, so this is just my view on things

Anyways, good forum!

Small question, what are the policies on video posting etc?

Hello to UkF1 Lad and codename_47, you can prolly guess who I am :P

The 100 post minimum applies only to the Parc Ferme forum, you are free to post in any other the remaining motorsports based forums.

If people are posting spam then those posts will simply be deleted, reagrdless of whether it is an attempt to get to the 100 post minimum or not. If they continue to post rubbish then there's a good chance they will be banned long before they reach that minimum anyhow.

Although the posting right to Parc Ferme is automatically granted after 100 posts we do have the facility to remove that access until such time as we feel they have made 100 'sensible' posts. That said we have yet to make use of that facility.

I was talking about the Cool Links section actually.

But okay, sounds like a good system
