RMR should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Combe FF1600

Seems there is always a thread for the Northern/Midland Championships so this could be a chance for the Combe racers.

Just seeing who's out and about this year, here rumours Tim Reynolds is back in Kevin Mill's new vd??

Know there are quite a few Combe people on the forum so some must have some news about the Championship?

Is there still that stupid rule for hitting the markers on the chicanes?

Is Ed Moore going to being the Championship?

Jadlam - You racing or do you have anyone in your car(s)??

Parsons Racing are in - with a returning driver or two... (and I don't mean me)

Not seen who Kevins running although I think Nick Jones's Reynard is up for sale (maybe - this is only me)

Ed Moore and the Ames's have entered. It looks like Jadlam has entered himself in an 04

Not sure on anyone else...

Let me look through my media forms... not had yours yet, have I Matt?

Pat Blakeney - Vector MG95
Nick Jones - Kevin Mills Racing Reynard 89FF
Richard Misters - Swift SC93
Alan Slater - Swift '89
Ed Moore - Van Diemen RF01 (full season)
Tim Reynolds - KMR Swift SC92 (four times title winning car)

That's all I've had from down Combe way. If anyone has any news or wants any help with media stuff, contact myself or Matt Beer.

What is the rule re markers, and the penalty? They wind me up a treat - never seen a race where they've all stayed up.

LOL never heard that! I love Combe - 10 / 15 mins so makes a change from Croft etc!

Why £10 a marker when they just stick the naff, bent ones back in again? Someone should complain!

But you know what it's like at Combe. First lap, coming out of Quarry, three alongside each other, none of them wanting to give in - they're not exactly going to think "hang on a minute, this could cost me a tenner" are they?

is it only a tenner for the markers now?!! excellent, was £30. they got fed up of the FF destroying them in one lap, they put in big tyres to stop shortcuts but markers still went! think it was a stop go penalty if you hit them. i remember ed moore having the penalty last year. hopefully this rule has gone and the tyres!! i know mattray tried moving them a year or 2 back
