Verschuur received the Porsche RS Spyder. The team is re-christened to van Merkesteijn Motorsport (by Equipe Verschuur). Testing will be in February only.

I reckon it'll be fascinating to see WR with a serious lump behind the loud pedal. I'm really looking forward to their return.
Of course, this does raise the question of who between Embassy, Barazi, BTP, Binnie and Arena has not signed on the dotted line for 2008? Arena? Could there be some truth in the Zytek Audi rumour? |

Im really looking forward to seeing a WR with a real engine stuck in it !!!
Embassy are not in question , neither are Barazi or BTP , imo . Binnie is a rumour and then we have the Arena Audi FSI rumour too , and both are possible . Im hoping LNT get their mits on one of the LMP2 chassis . |

It also means that LMS now avoids a clash with the DTM and as a result Audi can run their DTM drivers in the series

The motivation for the change in date was apparently the fact that the FIAGT championship also races at Monza on the 18th May.
So, nothing to do with Audi (). (I see the Brno FIAGT round clashes with the Silverstone LMS round on 14th September.) Last edited by Bentley03; 7 Dec 2007 at 00:13. |

According www.autosport.nl Jan Lammers is close to a contract with Lista Horag Racing to drive in LMS and Sebring. Besides LMS he will drive a Lambo in German ADAC GT Masters, a car in the Dutch BMW 130i Cup and he has some offers from teams to drive at Le Mans.
So this means the end of Racing for Holland in endurance racing. |
