there should be though. The cameras should be in place - after all there should be video of the WEC FPs. If they wanted to boost awareness and viewership of ELMS, not broadcasting it is not the way to go.

yeah, i think free practice sessions are generally where the "they need to broadcast it to get people interested" arguements stop being valid. it's absolutely true for qualifying and the race, but anything else is just non-sensical. it's just cars going round a track.

the only people who care about that are the real enthusiasts, of which a grand total of zero are contributing financially towards the cost of broadcasting that.

That's a grand total of one only, but at least not zero

..I get your point though, although "just cars going round a track" (in a fast way) is exactly what I watch racing for...

The LMP3 cars sound totally different to how i had expected but look great on track, do think they will cause the faster GTE cars problems during races though.

Wasn't that available in the WEC stream when it wasn't behind the paywall?

I might be confusing the two but I'm sure I made use of that feature. Not that it matters too much; I'm still waiting for archived full race broadcasts before I stump up some cash.
