Exactly, it is the consistent inconsistency of the officials which cause these blues... how can it be fine at one race but not at the other? Plus if a bit of common sense would prevail, as the guys said, it would have stopped once fuel levels dropped

Just another reason to get rid of the crap artificial fuel stops which add nothing to the races as every body is putting in the same amount of fuel. Must have seemed like a good idea at the time

The V8 Supercars showed what a proffesional outfit they were early in the week stepping up to the new format to fill the void, but any browny points they got for that have been erased now.

Maybe its something in the Gold Coast water? The Yanks used to be pretty good at making a mess of things and now the locals are having a go.

An engine will eventually stop throwing oil out the back too when a leak starts... it usually involves a big *BOOM*

The risk is that if Mr Kelly were to strike a wall, and the aluminium plate surrounding the filler were to strike a spark... Frosty @ Bathurst MkII would be on the cards

Matters arising from Race 20 – Leg 1:

The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Steven Richards Car #6 for a driving infringement on Car #51 Greg Murphy.

Following an investigation and an admission by Dean Fiore Car #12, that he did not maintain the Safety Car Speed at the restart, the Stewards imposed a reprimand as penalty.

Following an investigation and an admission by Jamie Whincup Car #1 that he had driven in a careless manner, impeded Car #5 Mark Winterbottom during a Qualifying Lap, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a Reprimand on Jamie Whincup.
