Flem should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Has anyone heard what happened with Seiji Ara's crash? The Stewards wanted to speak to him but I don't think there was any update whilst Eurosport was still broadcasting

sure... the only problem is that the vantage gte is the car most impudently ad"vantage"d by the bop (more than porsche). 65kg lighter than ferrari and corvette, restrictors size of 29.7mm (while the same 4.5 v8 of ferrari has a 28.3mm) and a 5L extra in fuel tank. BTW i'm sure that some flying tyres or some gearbox problem will rebalance all this during the race.

DSC reports the 16 Pescarolo is down to two drivers, JCB will not drive in the race.

Yes, but that's not unheard of in recent years. Even the pole setter this year had to run a two-driver race on his Le Mans debut with Kolles in 2009.

When Stuart Hall had a big one in the Creation (not his fault) in 2008, there was concern over his being medically fit. The ACO would not allow another driver to replace him. He was either fit enough to drive or they had to use only two drivers.

It may be different now but I doubt it.

I seem to remember that Aston Martin Racing had to run with two drivers after, yes, S Hall was told he could not continue--after contact with another car I seem to remember.

It's not a rumour, it's confirmed by the team, and nobody is replacing him, Collard and Hall will run as a two-driver team.

A question for the more knowledgable.
During the interview with Fisicella last night he said he had done his required qualifying laps in the No.71 Ferrari while the 51 car was being rebuilt. I thought the drivers had to stick with the car they are nominated to drive, or is this just for the race?

Really deciding if I want to stay up the entire 24 hours this year or not; it's usually the 2am - 7am slot that is really tough. I mean I could drink a Monster Energy and it'd be totally fine, but that would then mean sleeping most of Sunday, and then having to wake up for work at 6:30am the next morning for work. There's a good chance the Toyota's will make a great start, but then fade later in the race with issues, so at least one of the Audi's will have a trouble free race and win the thing. GT is really the only other class I'm interested in, being how wide open the class is at the moment.
