Too bad Ford could care less about motorsport.

In Europe they spent tons of money in F1 and WRC without any good results. As a Ford owner, I´m disappointed with the lack of support to motorsport.

Sooner or later ford will bite. They will get tired of GM and SRT/Chrysler making them look bad. It would be exciting to see Ford in GTLM.

This.

I want Ford to play too, but I'm not sure how much I care about seeing a Mustang get the same treatment the M3 did.

I always liked Corvette vs Aston.

I realize that if Aston comes it will be all 3 battling which would be fantastic but if you could only choose 2.
If Aston shows, there will be six brands battling for the win at Petit LeMans! Unless it rains for any length of time, of course. Then an urbanflague Porsche will run away with it...

Petit should be an epic race in the GT class.

The Ford, Chevy, Dodge rivalry is great, but it's a better fit for stock cars or Pickup Truck pull events.
That being said.... I would love to see a new Ford Cobra, capable of racing in GTLM.

Sadly, a "production-based" Mustang wouldn't stand a chance in GTLM.

How about a Cobra/Ford GT successor! Too bad that it will shut it down like GM did to the Grand Sport back in 1962. Kinda ironic, isn't it?

So the Vettes get a 36mm refueling hose size and everyone else runs 32mm? I wondered why their pit stops were so fast, perhaps this is a reason?
