The only 2 possibilities you have for PMR is Smiley and Proctor, as you mention having a hunch Smiley will be back at BTC that makes it Proctor |

Hmm, yes I took the "less winning" as meaning they had won, but not as many as Collard thats my mistake in the interpretation . I'm not sure Nic has won anything let alone BTCC but Hamilton does fit with the previous suggestion: "There is a proper surprise coming elsewhere. Some will whinge but the lad has got the money together and done the deal and therefore deserves the ride in my book." |

Excelr8 have their first driver announcement at Autosport today at 1pm. Who do you reckon? Could be a decent car that new Hyundai. Will be interesting to see how it performs.
I also saw on Instagram a reply to a Crees post suggesting his BTCC drive announcement is this Sunday, at Autosport. Not Team Hard so where’s he landed a drive? |

Nice to see Cicely keeping their lineup, hope the Merc is improved for Morgan and also hope Rowbottom can build on a decent debut season

Well, if Smith's deal isn't finalised yet then it should be the other driver. Looking forward to it!

I don't think excelr8 will have an experienced line up because Osborne has gone, smith + a n other good racer but not a BTCC winner, maybe Anthony Worton-Eals or Max Coates

Smile NOT at BTC. Off to Motorbase? Edit - the obvious answer is in a Hyundai but that’s got to be a step back from a proven car, Shirley? |

doesn't matter if it's a step back if it's the only step you can make, does it?
perhaps this was why he and bert were exploring the porsche avenue. |

Means one less person for the third BTC seat. I do think him going to Motorbase would be a good move

Proctor at Excler8. Pretty quick in the PMR days so should help get the Hyundai going.
https://www.itv.com/btcc/senna-proct...witch-for-2020 I would say we can fairly confidently confirm Smith alongside him. |

It’s good that Exceler8 have an experienced driver. Proctor should be happy he’s back with FWD, even if he was starting to get to grips with RWD scooby towards the end of last season

Proctor has always been more of a RWD man really, but there’s hardly anyone out there that would be able to make that Levorg look good after all the hobbling it suffered. There’s only really Sutton who has any car set up so extreme and twitchy and therefore could wrestle anything out of it. After him, Jordan is probably next, but still nowhere near as extreme.
Sutton’s set up reminds me of Michael Schumacher. When he was at his peak any spare car in the team would invariably have been set up for him and if any of his team mates had to take on the spare car they found it virtually undriveable anywhere near the limit. Sutton is very quick anyway, but it’s down to his driving style that he’s been the only driver who could get anything serious out of the Levorg from 2017 onwards. |

With Smith looking likely for the second excelr8 seat this debunks those saying jackson was going to be in the car
