Hache Team was asking too for the Acura, but probably they will have one Oreca or maybe a Ginetta
Hache also will have a big upgrade on the Lucchini Judd, with some aero updates and a big change on suspensions and weigh distribution. |

I cant see the point of running at the back with a Lucchini , just what has that mark accomplished over the years with respect to sportscars ?

I think the plan is to run a lead car plus the Lucchini, using the older car as a more economical introductory programme for customers

They had quite a fair amount of success with their SR2 car in the FIA-SCC and national prototype championships in the early part of the decade, actually.

Lancia had a very qiuck car too ..... a long time ago .
National prototype championships ..... Gimme a break . The LMS is not a national championship . Its a professional championship and Lucchini have yet to prove something , or not ? |

The lucchini is probably the worst looking prototype I've ever seen in my life. Some parts are made of wood! I don't see the point in running this car and I think it is really dangerous for the drivers and the aco should just ban it. In Nurburgring Maxi Cortez lost the direction!

Oddly I quite like the Lucchini - from the rear quarter it's got something - but horses for courses and for the same reasons I like it I can see why others probably don't.
I appreciate this is an argument that keeps coming up whenever a team does something different, but I for one am really pleased the LMS isn't a case of identikit Lolas rolling round. |

Me too, but the Lucchini LMP2 is an 2004 design! The car is outdated! The only development they made was adjusting it to the different regulations between 2004 and 2009... that car will never be more than what he already is!

DAILY SPORTSCAR have broken the news that a new UK based team will enter the Le Mans Series in 2010.
The name? Team RLR (I wonder if they realised the similarity to a well known North American racing team when they chose it? ). They will enter an AER powered LMP2 Lola shod with Dunlop tyres. Budget appears to be pretty much in place, so.......... Good luck to them! |

RLR makes me think more of Richard Lloyd Racing than Rahal Letterman Racing.

Since I don't have DSC, is it a newer B08/80 (B10/80?) or a used chassis?

The FIA-SCC was not a national championship. I don't really get what you're all riled up about either. It is just fact.
