They must be working Carlton hard this weekend he seems to be covering live Ski Jumping at the momment, then again Martin Haven did GP2 and Luge yesterday.....

That would surely preclude Carlton Kirby from commentating on anything?

I take it the timing had the wrong driver, 01 now listed as having JPM in the seat. Two seconds ago it was Memo Rojas. Either that or Rojas has just had the shortest stint in Daytona 24H history.

Yep, watching Speed now - there was a small electrical issue on the car it was Monster all the time not Rojas.

Speed is so so so much better

Sooo erm where the Live WRC stages???

Are those yellows really necessary? Seems ridiculous to me. Thats nearly 5:30 h under caution.

No, they're not really necessary, and you're not the only one who thinks that.
Compare it to Le Mans - if you've got a car driven by someone out of his depth there, he will probably leave the tarmac, hit something hard and that will be that. At Daytona, he'll probably be collected, get it repaired (because he went off in the infield and didn't do much damage) - and come out and do it again!

Rember Grand Am is run or mostly owned by NASCAR. So yellow fags are the rule.

Teams dont like the new yellow flag rules

There is OVER 4 HOURS under yellow flags. Maybe they should make this race 24 hours of racing plus yellow flags. Oh wait teams might not be able to run 36 hours then.....
