thats much better. maybe even better still would be to mark the confirmed in bold and ditch the available drivers list too. Just my opinion

Anyone else see in today's Autosport mag Scott Speed's comments about not doing IndyCar because he could easily walk in and be successful?
Any thoughts on that?
I think he is overestimating his own capabilities just a little...

Hahaha! What was the last thing Speed walked into and was immediately successful? Formula Renault Eurocup? Maybe GP2, but that's a stretch!

Interesting, though I can't seem to find that anywhere.

His Twitter makes it seem like he has some news, whether it's good or bad. The most prevalent rumors I see have him at Andretti in the fourth car or in a second Panther car starting at Indy.

His attitude doesn't seem to coincide with results really does it? That kind of thinking doesn't give an insight into why he's been booted from any big chances he's had does it?

If he can prove it, c'mon lets see it

Apparently Red Bull spent $23 million dollars on him up to his Formula 1 debut and like many of the Red Bull drivers, no doubt there is talent but for the huge expenditures they put out they don't seem to really get a lot of mileage out of it. Their whole program is a bit fractured and haphazard.

Speed fell pray to politics that were going on at Toro Rosso, but also it is said he is difficult to work with. One thing I will say is he has Crohn's disease which is a very draining difficult disease to deal with over the long term and that may have an impact.

The irl though is just a motor racing backwater that few see outside of the 500(and that much reduced) so can't really see the point in heading over that way. Probably he can stick it out somewhere in nascar, maybe take a step back to the trucks or nationwide cars.

I never liked him since the ARCA mess. He'd be a solid middling runner in Indycar, backmarker in Cup and if he brings that attitude to the table a consummate spectator at any discipline he cares to watch

I agree with the whole red bull driver development program and they (Helmut Marko) seem to be very hard on drivers as the long list of dumpees would attest.

I'm not sure if his departure was so much politics as lack of results combined with being hard to work with. His disease is no excuse for his attitude however. I just think if he's as good as he says he is i'd like to see him back it up.

All-in-all one things for sure, he makes himself easy to dislike

At non-ovals, I doubt it. Anyway, he could just say that he's not interested in IndyCar and that would be fine (tastes are tastes, we say in Spanish), but saying it's too easy for him is disrespectful.

Yeah, same thing in a piece in todays Autosport mag (but likely only for road courses) - I really hope it's true, he deserves a lucky break.

Sim and Baguette did well in their first attempt at an oval, so Rossiter could do so too.
