It is easy to get the tram to the carrefore if you do not want to drive, checks on bottles are sometimes there sometimes not. On arrival at tertre rouge with the car loaded up with stuff it is very easy to hide bottles but later on, not so easy, but to be honest after the first few days they seem not to check cars just those entering on foot.

It's the Moto GP at Le Mans this weekend and I have just stumbled across this - https://www.gpfrancemoto.com/en/virtual-visit - something I have never seen before and it makes the circuit looking stunning.....

Face value €267. Starting bid £380. Mind you, does include a 'fabled' Tertre Rouge camping ticket and the tickets were from 1st Tickets.....
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294976447...2Cchnl%3Dmkcid There are a few other tickets starting to appear now.... |

That's quite a lot of money to pay, although you're right it is quite good value for money. Shame though some decide to this with tickets

That sounds like fun, although how long does it take to walk the length of the circuit?

no pedestrian access at tertre rouge will certainly mess up a lot of people, but it will make it easier for those of us that camp at tertre rouge.
Appears that they are restricting access quite a bit in a similar way to last year Last edited by GT6; 23 May 2022 at 12:02. |

Yep. Open from 7.30 pm on the Sunday (after the Test Day) until 3.30 am on the Wednesday.
BTW, where is the 'ZAC du Cormier area'? I've never heard of it. |

no no idea what that is
think there wil be loads of differences this year, i am certainly intriqued by the new toilet/shower block built at the end of the TR campsite. I have heard reports it will have seperate parts for the campsite and those at the concert area but it was obviously not used last year apart from the few marshalls camping in TR. The restriction of access points will come as a big shock for most of the fans returning after 3 years |

Yes, thanks very much for that Rene. I haven't seen the pit allocations either....
The walk is tempting James, but I fear for how cream crackered I'll be for the weekend if I do it! |

Friday is already pretty heavily booked for me, classic welcome in the morning with lunch on the way back, the last of our party arriving lunchtime snd then stro;; around the pit lane as usual then back to the campsite for dinner and catch up with whole group and a few beers/wine
