Hopefully this year's GT1 winners Larbre get a invite to GT-E if they decide to put forth an entry in that class, as a way of making use of this auto invite that cant be used next year.

I guess the money to trot around the world has to come from somewhere, but it's a pity that it can't at least be Nicolet and Hein with Moreau or Lahaye. Then at least all the drivers would be familiar with the car...

I would not expect to see Autocon with their own Ginetta before 2011, if at all. I believe they are trying it on for size at Silverstone because it's the last chance to race it without having to fly it somewhere this year..

I don't think Marino ever was in question as the third Highcroft driver...

but great news to see Werner back in the ALMS.

Werner was always the replacement for Pagenaud at Le Mans and nothing more as far as I know. Marino Franchitti also doesn't deserve to be out of a drive, so you can't win!

From my understanding the team has two cars, but one of them has an older ECU unit which isn't allowed anymore. The team asked the ACO to use the second car at Silverstone, and the ACO said they could if all the other teams agree (AKA just Larbre?) and apparently they couldn't get 100% agreement. Maybe this will change for Petit?

Hmm, I do not see the other teams running the ILMC this year in GT-1 allowing it to run at Petit any more than they would allow it to run at Silverstone. As it is still outside the rules of the class.

But it would have no competition at Petit. All they need to do is be classified, and I doubt the ECU would have much affect on that.

It is still a legally scored class in the ILMC and must run to the rules!

But my point was that they had to ask the teams, but from what I read, it didn't specify if it meant the ILMC teams or the teams entered for Silverstone or what. Hence why I say that if it was just for Silverstone, they may be able to ask again for Petit.

The team has 4 car's, the 2 Full Speed FIA GT 2009 cars and the 2 K plus K FIA GT 2009 car's, the car they wanted to run at Silverstone was the Wendlinger/Sharp car from last year.

Hmm, my point being. Was the article linked read? If it had been it shows the 4 teams that are entered into the ILMC. Which happens to include the team that they ran with in the LMS and which protested the use of a non rules compliant car at the joint LMS/ILMC round.
