You can pre order from Zavvi for £31.95 or from Play.com for £39.99 i believe the retail price will be £49.99 however that is only from Play.com so might be cheaper in shops.

Ah man, play.com just sent me an email saying the order has been posted, allowed 3-5 days.... CMON PLAY, make this '3' a '1'!!!
Selby Am I also right in being a bit worried in regards to my terrible timing? I've started heavilly getting in to rFactor this past couple of weeks, and learnt how to build tracks. I really hope i'm not disappointed!!! |

this shows the damage model off. Compared to all previous F1 games, its definetally above par. compared to previous Codemasters games, its below par. But still damn awsome. |

I too had read the concerns about the damage model, but I think it looks o.k to me. Perhaps the cars get a bit airborne a bit too easily, but all those crashes were obviously someone trying to crash by simply not braking. One thing that particularly impressed me is there is one image of I think a Sauber hitting a Ferrari, and you can see the front wing break into individual components rather than just a shower of bits.
Everyone can moan about the damage, but a computer game is never going to show particularly realisitc deformation as its just not possible to model that accurately without using up all the processing power just on that. For what it is, I think it looks great. As for the wet race, that looks superb. I love the way the view is severely compromised in the spray - hopefully that will be the same in cockpit view. Also got my email saying mine was dispatched today, literally cannot wait to get it! |
