I once read that they are the same thing. Reheat is or used to be more commonly used in Britain, and Afterburner in the US.

I know this is keeping the thread off topic, but the Vulcan is now listed as displaying at Silverstone at the BTCC meeting http://www.vulcantothesky.org/appearances.html

Not being a techy you've pretty much explained it how it was explained to me.

The sun is shining on us at Silverstone and the campsite is filling up. there seems to have been a problem with pitch marking and spaces and some of them are small but there are loads of spares

Hello Guys

Just a quick question. Haystacks very kindly donated his spare Guest Pass to myself and I was wondering if there are any restrictions as to where I can watch the race from (I'm guessing its just standard general admission) and do I have to enter the circuit from any specific enterence. Im not camping, just coming up Saturday and Sunday morning.

Cheers

Rob

Not kidding. I got told to move mine back as front was in a fire lane 'cept I was already right at the back of my spot. Been moved to a nice flat spot at the bottom of the hill

Nah, can't be that. It's been cloudy and pleasant here most of the day.

Hmm. One took off early evening today. Not very noisy at all, just a different sound to everything else and a much slower ascent and lower flightpath.

They probably changed the schedules around in preparation for the GP .....

Well done, guys, quick clean up of debris and excellent removal of Algesuari.

Who landed on his face on Hangar Straight, though? Go on, 'fess up!

I really felt for him. Credit to him, still got up and did the job, though. I think I might have crawled back and hidden!

Hangar Straight has its way of making marshals famous.

Had a great 3 days at Wellington Straight (we also covered Aintree) for my first GP. Had a poorly Lotus on Friday, a 3 wheeled GP3 car on Saturday plus lots of hairy moments with cars running wide exiting Aintree & bouncing across the grass/dirt/dirt that's been painted green! Thanks to everyone who I shared the post with. Now looking forward to my bed......

Had a great weekend at Stowe - good team and large spectator numbers which helped the atmosphere.

Maybe a little too warm for my taste, but good practice for next weekend in Toronto!

A huge thank you to all my team at Luffield In and what a pleasant surprise to get the only snatch out of the gravel of the Torro Rosso. Great job from Kieron (hooking), Henry (jcb), Fazza and the others who just did their jobs automatically. We had our 15 secs of fame and hope we didn't let our collegues down. Well done all of the marshals on a very warm weekend. There were a lot of new faces there this year I hope you will all be back next year.

Had a really good weekend at my second GP doing startline for the first time at the GP. the atmosphere on the grid was amazing and the sensation of those engines on the rev limiter is boneshaking. The staller on the GP3 grid definitely made for a few anxious moments as two cars squeezed between the staller and the pit wall
