First start was aborted after the field was half way through the lap.

Second start and we lose 3-4 good cars in an accident.

It's ridiculous, even by Paul Ricard standards. It's a bit difficult to get excited at good lap times and driving when it's being facilitated by running off more than the width of the track.

Edit - Well that's definitely a flaming 458. Driver gets out quickly, thankfully.

Its annoying, its not even a little bit over the white line, most laps its 2-3 car widths.

That's utter bull from the race director if what Stippler said was true. Of course Signe is a difficult corner (I thought circuits were supposed to be tough...), but that's no justification to let everyone go 6-10 feet off the track limits.

Meanwhile, the #63 Huracan looks like it will run away with the race, unless the Bentleys or #23 Nissan come back as the temperature drops in the evening/night.

Edit - Nope, #84 HTP Bentley in the garage. That's one more leader out of contention.

#63 gets pinged for a pit lane violation, #23 runs serenely in front, #46 gets up to 2nd despite being down on top speed and starting from the pits and everybody goes well wide at Signe as usual.

The #5 Audi blows its hood, with Fassler at the wheel. Disappointingly the commentators squander the opportunity to note that Marcel has recent experience with exploding bodywork...
