I'm thinking, if Toyota are in low downforce mode, and running the same pace as the Porsches at their quickest, is that good? Porsche are probably in their high downforce trim, right? So come Le Mans they will be faster, and the Toyota are already at their "fast" trim? Hmm.

Lotterer says that the pace difference is "nothing to do with tyres" and denies that the rubbing bodywork has anything to do with the lack of pace.

Edit - Brake temperatures very high on the #8, implying a KERS issue (failing to regenerate).

Wasn't the BR01 the only car that was a "pure" LMP2 - meaning that it could not be 'transformed' to a LMP1?

Audi not very much like Audi today .... driver error and mechanical problems too. With half of Audi gone and Toyota never really there ... and pP1-L doing its normal thing .... this could end up as another ELMS race.
