Because it's fun supporting the plucky underdogs with a tenth of the budget trying to go on a giant killing effort. Nobody really expects Rebellion to beat Toyota on pace - but we all enjoy Bruno Senna giving it a damn good go.

Rebellion are superb at stacking up lots of small issues across the 24 hours.
Their pace has dropped off from what it was early on. |

Kinda cool now Toyotas are split by that puncture. It'll be hard to see who has the advantge.
For the record. A few laps after the 3rd stop for 8 (2 for 7) the gap is 59.295s. Last lap 8 was .7s quicker. |

Not sure how Toyota #7 lost around 15 seconds of difference in its favor that ended up having them switch positions when they evened their pit stops number.
