Both classes. However, everyone knows why this regulation change was done. This is a political regulation change to help JAF-GT cars.

are sure that nissan changed "only" the slant-nose in the 2003 season? maybe my eye is not much expert but in the second pics (the motegi one) the car seems completly different from the one in the first pic.

The whole front end looked like it changed, this year not so radical. The top picture looks a lot like the R33 model, then the 2nd picture looks a lot like the modern cars of SuperGT.

Yes. To tell the truth, the latter one is a brand new chassis.
First picture is 02 model, Second one is 03 model. |

Love the slant nose etc version of the R34, probably my favourite JGTC/SGT car ever (well that and the Lark McLaren F1 GTR ). It just looks so low and fat and purposeful, one of my favourite GT racers of all time.
Nice to see they're doing again for the R35 |

The cover on the latest edition of AUTOSPORT is BMW M3.
It is because it is a hint of next gen GT500 car. http://www.as-books.jp/book-view/sam...w/bookNum/329/ |

AUTOSPORT's report
*Nissan and Lexus plan to give the machine major update in the latter half of the season. Nissan says that it is a major update "worth buying a miniature car of update version". *On the other hand, Honda doesn't have the plan to give the machine a major update at present. Honda was not able to develop the machine from March through May because the Tochigi laboratory had received damage due to the earthquake. Honda discontinued the development of the racing air conditioner, too. *Honda clarified that overheating had occurred in the Okayama round. |

IIRC, that's a Dome Zero. Ran at LM in the late 70s...

This is a photo session for the calendar making for the sales promotion of MOTUL.
This car is a RL-81. This is a memorial car that participated in LM in 1981 when MOTUL became the sponsor of Dome for the first time. And, Minoru Hayashi is a designer of the car and a president of Dome. It shows the relation between Dome and MOTUL. |

Keinosuke Taki(Honda GT project leader)'s GT report (SUGO preview)
SUGO is a technical circuit where the vertical interval is large. Because the ratio of the cornering section is high among lap time, SUGO is an advantageous circuit for us. There is no target of Honda except the victory. The anxiety is a weight handicap of KEIHIN(50kg) and Weider(48kg). However, HSV-010 is a machine that doesn't influence lap time even if weight increases. Moreover, there is a high-speed corner just before a home straight of SUGO. Therefore, it is possible to run at high speed in the home straight if we run at high speed in this high-speed corner. The condition of KEIHIN(#17) is good at this season. Weider(#1) got a boost from winning Sepang round. Raybrig(#100) have a performance not inferior to KEIHIN and Weider. So, they are favorites, too. As for ARTA(#8), Mutoh and Kobayashi's growth are remarkable. EPSON(#32) heads gradually for a good direction. http://www.honda.co.jp/SuperGT/spcon...preview/vol25/ |
