Can we stick to ILMC news-and-developments-thread and leave all (well intended) travel and campingtips for a seperate thread (Going to ILMC Spa 1000km 2011)? Thanks.
Belgian Kronos Racing intending to take part in the LM 24H (depending on selection) and - depending on funding - some other ILMC (Spa probably) + LMS races as well with one of the Lola-Aston Martins (see here)! Kronos racing is best known for her preparations of rally (Citroen) and touring cars (mostly Peugeots back in the 90's). |

So are they taking over the ex-Signature-Plus car? Plus one of its drivers?

Very happy to get in from work and see this Kronos news. Very interesting choice of team. Hopefully the ACO gives them and Vanina a place. The more Aston's the better!

CRS Racing will enter the ILMC in GTE-Am with a single F430 Ferrari while developing the GT3 McLaren at the same time.

I really hope Kronos Racing get an entry with the Lola Aston. It's a great sounding and great looking car, would be fantastic to see it have one last blast at Le Mans.
What needs to be done to a 2009/2010 spec car to make it eligible for 2011? The fin on the back is one of course, what would need to be done for the engine? |

Also, there may be waivers involved. It's also odd to note that Pescarolo may be allowed to run the 5.0 Judd V10 in his cars instead of the 5.5. |

Dispensation from the ACO, asked specifically by Judd after problems in testing the 5.5 engine with the new air restrictors. At least according to the information in the latest issue of Autosport magazine.

Seems to be more older GT2 machinery taking part in the ILMC which is interesting. Competition for Le Mans entries will be fierce!

Lizards, maybe? Particularly the boss's car, in GTE-Am probably? There was a press release from the team some time ago saying something about "focusing more on endurance races" and its true meaning is still unclear.

2 hours till the deadline for Le Mans and ILMC entries.
Does anyone know how strict the ACO are on late entries? |
