As long as the Audi's don't get airborne having to jump over curbs, I'd hope that their chances of major, crippling problems would be minimal.

Toyota have had some issues of their own (though minor so far) this week, and even Porsche's 2015 hybrid parts weren't 100% reliable, as COTA and Fuji proved last season.

Not to mention that the previous post mentioned a rumor of a possible issue with the #1 Porsche with smoke in the cockpit.

Rebellion winning or at least finishing well would be the safest bet unless reliability issues for them suddenly pop up.

I think we'll get a Rebellion podium, but the race is long enough that it'll allow works teams to catch back up during problems. But I'm rooting for Rebellion.

I suppose that their fastest lap was improvement through excessive track limits violation or local yellow.

Though it doesn't state why, Audi Sport's twitter page lists that the #7 and #8 flip-flopped on scoring, though the #8's next fastest lap was only a few tenths off the one that got deleted.

Looking at the weather radar on Flightradar24 it doesn't look like it. The whole track is under a rain cell at the moment and there's a heavier part of this cell moving towards the track. At this rate, it might just be dry enough for slicktermediates by the end of this session, and certainly not dry enough to see improvements.

Just as aside to this question, yesterday it was mentioned several times on Audi and Porsche team radio that drivers were getting some smoke in the cockpit. I wonder if its from the cars bottoming out or something?
