Well, it is an endurance race, it ends up being about 45 minutes of solid racing, probably 40 minutes for those quicker guys. And you have more time to complete it, so just have a shot when you've got the spare time .

3rd!! Wow - if I'd have been 8th I'd have been delighted after the amount of running time I had.

No idea what to expect about Seoul as I have had very little running there. Should suit my style though

Well well well, I certainly wasn't expecting that! I'd managed to get into a rhythm where every lap was within about 0.3 seconds of each other, that is the only good thing about the High Speed Ring. And the car I ended up using was so much easier to drive than the Toyota Woodone Tom's Supra, which I normally use.

If only I hadn't messed up the second round, I would be right in contention!

ps. Chatters, I am 6 points behind the leader, not 4.

Congrats safc!

I had a good feeling about that one - got a really good rhythm going. See what happens when I get more than one and a half goes at a circuit!

50 laps around Seoul is going to be interesting - if not a touch dull.

Yep, my bad. Mistakes always manage to pop up in the results.

Seoul is one of the tracks where I can go into daydream mode...but I've never done it in a JGTC car. And the track is not what you would call thrilling either

BTW how many races are in this series?

This will be a 12 race series, although it may go for longer if everyone is having enough fun!

I just had my first run. I'll use it as a benchmark time, and try out different settings and cars.

Had my second run tonight and its gone pretty well. I set a lap time I'm amazed with and while there were a few mistakes in the whole run I think it's going to be a pretty competetive time. I think I've settled on my car for this round too so for the rest of the fortnight its all about eliminating those mistakes.

Exactly the same here, just had my second run. Felt very comfortable in the car, my main problem was the lap traffic.

In past endurance races at Seoul, the traffic always seems to get in the way. Parts of the track are too narrow.

That's why, for this race, I set the opponents a lot faster, because they aren't as slow and you don't overtake them as much. Only problem is it's more annoying when you do try and pass them because they don't drive like idiots!

I have enjoyed all of the tracks so far (except for the chicane at Apricot), however this Seoul thing is not a good track, too many walls to bounce off = have to restart as that isnt allowed! Not sure if I can be arsed to do 50 laps of it without brushing the wall a couple of times.

I am yet to do a time, or even test the track for that matter. I'll make a start this weekend I think.

It's an enduro, you can make a few mistakes, I think everyone will, but it's only about double the time of an ordinary round. Just keep it as smooth as you can for as long as you can and try not to slip up. But everyone else will, so don't feel bad.

And besides, you seem to wallop everyone anyway!

Just done my first run in the Nissan Motul Pitwork Z, or whatever the hell it is called, and I managed a racve laptime 1.4 seconds faster than what I managed in practice! I made a few blunders so I'm not satisfied with my time, I can probably go about half a minute faster. And I hate the track. Too many barriers.

Am just about to submit my time - it was my time from only my second run, but I can't see me beating it by very much (although i'll keep trying) and I don't think I'm going to have time for many more runs.

The one good thing about the track is that it is short enough to get some rhythm going.

I actually enjoyed my first run - though made a few sizeable mistakes.

The key here is to deal with the traffic as effectively as possible.

The chicane after the first timing sector is quite annoying. If you turn in too late to the first part, you have to back off big time. It's easy to lose about a second if you mess thatr corner up. I also have a habit of turning in too early for the corners, so I think there is plenty of time to gain. It's all about motivating myself to do aniother 50 laps though!

I've submitted my time, I'm not going to get the chance to get another 50 laps in. As mac says you can get into a rhythm quite easily although making a mistake in one corner seems to have a big impact on the next as well - I expect I made more tyre stops than everyone else too I seemed to rip through them fairly quickly.
