I'm in no rush to see it, but I surely will go to see it. Still waiting for the LM 2013 bluray, first things first.

I'm content with the DVD, but saving it a couple of weeks to watch on my 'summer' holiday - in October!

Is that a bit like Le Mans being a British motor race held in France.....?

Sort of, yes! But the language here agrees with me far better than in France/Wallonia.

Well whatever day you get to see it you will enjoy it, I loved the scene where a couple of italian ferrari fans happen to pick up Nikki from a break down and let him drive their lancia. worth the money for that moment alone

On a different note, I've rechecked what religious holidays our government (in its infinite wisdom) has declared as days off work, and lucky me, one of those days falls on scrutineering Monday at Le Mans next year. Which means I can either save one day of annual leave... or stay and visit something after the race.

Can we go back to talking about Rush perhaps rather than this Pea band?
Saw it this afternoon (one of the highest density of 40/50 something blokes on their own, perhaps predictable for a rainy Tuesday in South London) and whole heartedly enjoyed it. Okay I'm notoriously easy on racing related films, not objecting too vigorously to the usually vilified "Driven" or "Michel Vaillant" but this seemed to work for me on a reasonable number of levels - very pleased it exists as a bit of cinema. |

Watch it, otherwise I'll have to start discussing whether the LM24 subforum constitutes a valid epistemic community in its own right, and wouldn't that liven up Friday night at Le Mans?

Saw it last night!
I really thought it was amazing. Took some friends a long who didn't know the story or watched F1, It quite captured them and made them more interested in Motorsport. |
