Erw - excellent choice of lens, it'll be sharp enough that you can crop your photos afterwards, but if you can afford it, it's worth getting the 1.4 extender.
You'll get more opinions over on the Art & Photography forum. cheers, Gavin |

Fortunately Trevor has built a great site with the overview per team and of course a dedicated page for Le Mans 2005. He tries to be as accurate as possible and refer to the publications for reference. Please report any inconsistencies or updates here. |

It's normal to light fireworks, in France, on the 14th of July. About Le Mans, I think you can light some small in the circuit area. Remember it's only tolerated and there are many campsites. There are official fireworks at Spa but not at Le Mans 24 Hours. If the weather is very, very dry, you shouldn't use them because : 1) it should be logically forbidden (bylaw issued by the prefecture), 2) you could unfortunately set fire to the pines and the forest which belongs to the LM circuit landscape. Enjoy the LM night. |

Yes you do, you can see that on the aco site there :http://www.lemans.org/univers_sport/...to2005_gb.html
You have to pay an extra ticket when you have only a general entrance, but with a grand stand ticket, normally you access to the welcome, the ABCDpark and the sponsors lounges |

Some news from Romain Dumas in Infocourse this morning...
He could enter the Champcar... in that case, good bye Romain Dumas in 2005... On the other and, Porsche is ready to sign him : "if i want to enter Porsche team, I'm in""... but : "the problem is : I won't know for what I'm signing"... GT ? Prototype ? Quote : "Posche wants to come back, they think, they think more and more but don't want to make any mistake"... Porsche prototype ? "Not in Europe, at least"... and not in 2005... well, the rumour keeps going on and on and on... For LM : "I want to do LM in a prototype... Porsche won't let me drive a factory car... I called Henri Pescarolo, and have a small contact with Dome...". FWIW... Last edited by Fab; 6 Jan 2005 at 06:41. |

AUTOhebdo reports also that there will probably be some Nissan GT with teams supported by the factory for the next years.

Can I just add a 'woo-hoo' as I've just come off the telephone with the ACO who have confirmed they have my money and everything is now booked.
Off to book the time off now. |
