Ah, yes, I forgot that one...
Although the Acura seemed to be a bit of a 1 lap specialist. I don't see them double stinting it. I guess the 'acid test' is Henri with his Peugeot, as that is a known team. How close can they get to the works boys? |

Another question - why does the Essex Porsche and the winning Peugeot have 11 points from Spa??? How is this possible...
Spa has confused my so much...negative points, Essex and Peugeot scoring more than the max, 4 bizarre disqualifications... I am so confused... |

There were stories in Spa that the Pesc-Peu might not have exactly the same specs as the works car. I have no specifics where the differences would be.

It's been said since the announcement that Pesca would get a 08-spec car (except for the aero package of course). Not sure what the differences are though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pesca 908 be the highest finishing Peugeot simply because they pull off a flawless effort - Something that is yet to be seen from Peugeot Sport in races longer than 6h. I don't care which Peugeot wins this race...as long as one does. These Audi wins get more and more painfull every year. |

Yeah , but its not the fault of Audi that they do it properly ..... for example , Pug should be racing every race they can to perfect their opperation ..... and their not .
Personally , I feel that they dont really deserve the win . |

Well despite Barcelona and Laguna Seca last fall they have pretty much raced anything they could..... where else would they run?
I don't agree that they don't deserve to win. The 908 is a fine piece of engineering that would really deserve to win Le Mans. Peugeot were the first to design a LMP1 coupe, their engine was far supperior to Audi's V12, they had that hybrid programm running until the ACO rendered it useless by the rules and they keep on supporting the LMS when no other manufacturer bothers to care... Enough reasons to justiy a win in my book. |

so when the winning team finishes in the same lap as the second placed car you would call that undeserved?

Any team that does not cheat and completes more laps than everyone else is a deserving winner.

I would call it a close and exciting race, but one car has to finish first, the car in second does not deserve the win but does deserve our thanks for making a race rather than a procession.

Did anyone see the highlights package on Eurotrash? A lot better than last years coverage.
Anyway, it failed to mention why the Radical was DQ, was it bodywork like the Felbaoiijfagii Porsche? |

A few engine like changes if I'm correct. They really where spastical about the enginehood going of the car. even with scruteneering they had it 10cm open and just an arm underneath it to take a dieselsample. From what I could see is that the airfilter intake box was of carbonfiber instead the silver like version I had seen before... |

The live eurosport coverage of the race was terrible, 5 mins of the start of the race then adverts then another 2 mins and it was over. For a series such as the LMS this coverage is just not good enough.

So how long will it be before the LMS and ACO get their thumbs out of their bums and give a decision on the GT-2 appeal??
