GTA and ITR will make a statement about engine regulation unification (2 litter turbo) at the end of March. |

2013 Super GT pre-season report by Sports-carracing.net.

However, since the BoP test of FIA was canceled, in the Okayama round, GTA determines BoP oridinaly. -GTA announced on last Sunday that the Mother chassis vehicle of Toyota GT-86 is manufactured this year. GTA announced that it carries out the shakedown test of 2014 GT500 cars in the Suzuka round. -For 2014 GT500 car, the new monocoque (FR / MR correspondence) is used. DTM will also adopt this new monocoque in 2014. -Base vehicles in 2014 are: Honda/ NSX, Nissan/ GTR, Lexus/ unknown. -Indigo racing team is developing GT300 car of the Hyundai Genesys coupe. RS-Fine has participated in development of the machine. -Super GT may be held in Thailand in 2014. |

With them going the DTM style route I can see them using the lf-cc as its close to the M3 and the German 2 door saloons, but the lf-lc seems the more sports car type. It will be interesting to see.

Any developments with the DTM or Grand-Am tie up from the Super GT perspective. I know that there is a chance we could see one or two US manufacturers building cars to the regulations, and the current DTM manufactures seem interested in the US, but is there any chances we could see any of the Super GT manufacturers racing in Europe or the US? (Or DTM/USA cars in Super GT?)
