I imagine Toyota will be due a discount on WEC freight out of Le Mans, given the amount of sand they won't be carrying...

Think the GTE times were all screwed up with the red flag. Corvette got the benefit for aborting their first lap as no one got one in early, if my listening to RLM around replying to a guy crying about his neighbor removing trees.

Whatever Glickenhaus did for the Hyperpole, I hope they dial it out for the race. Onboards are down right scary through the final sector. How are you supposed to deal with random traffic situations if you're already sawing at the wheel to keep the thing from spinning?

yeah, on virage du cart both 007 looked so unstable!
hope they would find a more conservative set-up to make the rear more stiff and stable also because they know to have issues with tires wear from second stint.
Toyota was trolling everyone again, alpine and glickenhaus struggling all the time to stay in 3.25-3.26 range, toyota drops 3.23.9 at first serious try
and it isn't even gr010 full potential considering kobayashi was improving about 0.5s his previous pole lap before coming back to pits.
Not a big issue for alpine because their race will not based on pure performance.

they looked so unstable on rear, I'll check alkamel site as soon hyperpole sheets will be added, if both 007 reached top speeds higher than usual 330, it likely means they lowered rear wing load
update: nope, both 007 reached their max top speed during FP, guess the car is just unstable on porsche sector when driver pushes hard

Has anyone established which car went off in the 1st chicane and moved those barriers causing the slow zone?

PS: Unless I'm seeing things, after the sun goes down, on the Hunaudieres cars are racing straight at the moon. Which is a first, I think. Pretty epic.
