Seems the weekend in Guangdong was something else to remember...eurasia without cars;the red ones without parts; rain over rain over rain and near not enough wet tires; Mygale container missing and so on....hey but then...AFOS/BMW did a terrific job under the conditions given. Staff at the track..extremely helpful...all teams pulled together without the so typical song and dances. But not to sing on the high note all the time - confusions about penalties; crashes and blames; transportation/logistics nightmares; Chinese Customs dilemmas but officers were reasonable when reasoning/ordering; but still stranded teams after the race weekend!
Some real Kamakazi moves - be it Dixon ( 3 incidents in one race alone); heard that Meritus, Atl. Racing and eurasia went more than 7 times to the race director/dictator to hear about all this and wasted more time waiting for the Stewards (busy and overloaded with work). Bradley and Oon deserved all there winnings fair and square - nice to see them excelling while many others were stupefied and fought for nothing but Mygale's invoicing after the races! Yes - I know Dixon made it - fastest lap in race 1 (?) but the engine said good bye too early while in P3. Birch - the result of no seat time while waiting for 3 month to go again - a lesson FBMW/AFOS must learn - kids need time, good quality seat time in between races. Especially when rain is in the mix. ART was there - but no driver! IM had 1 driver! Home favorite CHAMP - nowhere to be seen....why? They knew the track! |

im racing? Was there! Missing Champ but engineer from Champs was there....All of the teams interested in racing and doing less talking made it..seems Champ could not organize them self or perhaps it had again no car??? Hey, there are some in Zhuhai available - so I heard...too much for you to work on? Seems you have crunch about all other teams and drivers - what's irking you? Think positive my friend, perhaps in Macau you should not borrow things from other teams but come prepared! and last...take a deep breath, put your brain in gear before writing. (PS dear editor - just a response to something which needs to be censored, if you like, as it is not within the spirit of a series in need of positive vibes.) |

bothfeetin, how do you rate this Jesse Dixon? We don't know, in general sense, much of what he can deliver out-there. |

And how do we all rate the Championship so far this year? And how do we rate Richard Bradley as well? Do we think he could make it to F1?What about the other drivers?

dave we will know std of championship after singapore gp as euro drivers will be here and the track is new for all. bradley is a good driver but whether he gets to f1 is anyone's guess as talent is only one factor required to make it there. still have to win in europe before teams actually start to consider a driver so a long way to go yet.

come to think of it - all back to biz and thanks for the lecture - how come that the dear Dr Marko is is not showing up at the FBMW Pacific races? An indicator of what Red Bull thinks about the talents here?
Nope - I don't think so! He just don't like rice and eating with his hands! Talents, real F1 talents, if there are any, like Bradley, Oon, Tunjo, and earlier on the likes like Chaves, need to to better and show in Europe what they can do. red Bull seems to have a hard time with non-Europeans to accept them as potential drivers - unless there are prominent names attached to. Perhaps also looking at the sales stat's of RB....so we all should drink more of it here in Asia! SG F1 should be interesting - and expensive! Full field with Eurointernational still licking their wounds not having won the Euro Championship, will be pulling out all the stops with 3 cars; Meritus in full force with 4 cars; Motaworld 2 - with Birch again; Atl with 1 car - lost Birch; IM 1 car; Eurasia 4 cars; E-Rain 2 cars totaling no less than 17 cars with some more to come. How about ART? Fortec? Rumour is they might come to sell their cars here but race first!. Mygale will be smiling! No Champ! Sad to see! |

Kvyat winning in Singapore, van Asseldonk winning in Formula Abarth in Vallelunga, Tarancon winning in Silverstone with Sainz leading. Pretty much settles which was the most talent packed "starter" series this year, doesn't it?

disagree.
bradley won in sepang twice with kvyat only 5 and 18 and sainz only 2nd and 4th. went to afos and after bradley got wiped out by some people he still came back through from 18th to 4th while sainz could only manage 15th to 8th and then from 11th to 4th and only 0.3 behind Kvyat. went to singapore and Bradley leads the whole race before Kvyat hits him out. Kvyat gets 3 second penalty and 5 place grid penalty and Bradley wins the race so Kvyat didn't win in Singapore. In Singapore 2 Sainz only came 2nd after an exclusion and Bradley blatantly waving everybody by. Sainz and Kvyat were the best from the Europe series to do other races and Bradley beat them with Tunjo there on other occasions. |

with regards to which formula produced the best talent it is clear that formula bmw was the best by a mile and a shame that bmw are pulling out. however the series for next year is sounding extremely healthy!
