Phoned IMS this afternoon with an enquiry. During the call they told me that all marshals passes, car passes etc were posted yesterday. Stand by for the sound of an MSA envelope hitting the welcome mat any time soon!

Just so you're not disappointed, I got mine this morning!

Camping plot Z21.

As in past years I've created a Google Docs spreadsheet so those who wish to can share their plot locations and see where others are located.

I think they have sent all the really good people out to AE row - I too have an AE row camping pass (AE19)

There are a few who have even higher - the highest at the moment is AJ.

At this rate i reckon my post will be nearer sign on than my camping plot!

Hi all

Are there any Tea vans/vendors on the inside of the circuit where I can get my tea cup/flask refilled? the only reason I ask is I am on Post 29 which by the look of the diagram is on the inside and have not been on the inside before, I usually get my cup refilled from one of the burger vans, so do I need to think about bringing a flask with me this year?

Ian

Best off making a flask for all day. Remember that the catering vans are there to make a profit . There is plenty of gaps were you can get across the track though. Just clear it with your IO first.

I seem to recall one or two in the past; however, as the public aren't admitted to the centre, they're probably not prime pitches.

Slightly off topic - but no Murray Walker this year at the BGP.

Ian

I was Incident at that point two years ago. You'll definitely need to take a flask for the full day as what's round that area is hospitality tents rather than the vans - or ask to cross the track and back in a (long) break. The upside is it's an excellent place to be. The flag point is below the gantry just at the pitlane entry and covers the (mayhem on) the sharp left out of the Vale into Club.

The signing-on card in the pack seems to indicate we'll get £30 to help cover expenses. I thought it was only £15 last year.

Has it increased or has premature senility finally taken a grip?

Well, personally this has come as a bit of a relief as I was in a quandary as to whether to pay off the car or the mortgage.
