A bit off topic I know, but if anybody has any 1/43rd models they would like building to a high standard I'm willing and able.

[removed oversized photos]

I currently have a Jaguar XJR-11, Mercedes C291 and Lancia LC2-1984 in Jolly Club colours on the go.

If there's a resin kit available I'll have a go. Looks complicated.. 6 months worth of work.. so.. £500?!

Have you seen the paint job?! Decals are not available so to paint it by hand would be the only way. Easily 6 months of work!

Well then it is not a proper kit so it would take longer. I have to agree, 6 months still seems a long time..

Anyway Back on topic...

There are two at the moment one for £25 and the other for £35..

Pretty pleased about some unique models I picked up the other day. With a little paint and some new decals, I should have some great additions to my BTCC collection.

YES.. They are out there.. Just different packaging. The models are the same!

All the manufacturers did it, Volvo, Renault, Vauxhall, Ford and BMW to my knowledge sold them.

It isnt just the packaging on the Volvo dealer models which is different. Although it is still onyx, there are both Rydell and Morbidelli name on on both rear door windows, and the rear window has lines across it (like a heated screen) Not alot of different though.

That's right. The very early Onyx packaged models appeared like that as well!
