No, it is outlawed. Bodywork is solid now, costing them +/- 5 km/h in top speed (according to earlier quote).

2nd red flag of the session, #67 IMSA Performance in the rail at the first chicane on Mulsanne, nothing seriously, car is beinge retrieved.

Motorsport-Total reports that Duval has a cut on his neck that was caused by the seatbelt as well as a big wound on one of his legs. Apparently no broken bones.

Dosen't sound like he'll be racing though.

That's one thing the WEC really has going for itself compared to F1. The respect and camaraderie among the P1 competitors really seems to be very much intact.

You often see them talking to each other and being friendly, it's nice. No need for this "we're all enemies" mindset.

I saw Audi confirmed they would build up a new car before tomorrow's qualy. Audi has this easily covered. They are the best in the business come crunch time.

Agreed. I see no reason why the #1 wouldn't be racing.

The only question is whether Duval will be driving.

Audi obviously won't have the backup car ready for tonight's second session. Most sources I've read is that Audi are working on said backup car to have it ready before the start of tomorrow's sessions.

Bigger question perhaps is will ACO and Audi Sport doctors clear Duval to race.

Gene is Audi's main reserve. He's one of the big reasons why there's rumored to be some partnership between Jota and Audi Sport.
