They just showed the Lambo coming into the pits, and the info that was on screen describing the car showed it in 4th place in class; stupid live-timing won't update.

that would mean they've overtaken both luc alphand cars. Seems unlikely but impressive if they did

Im still seeing the JLOC car in 6th with a 19 min lap

EDIT: that was his last lap, but still he is in 6th in GT1, dead last overall with a 4:22

The Lambo has been impressively poor so far. Surely the entry list would have been better filled with the Larbre Saleen. Or any other Saleen. Or a Viper. Or the Pagani Zonda. Or a pedestrian.

Well I think the live-timing is still kerplunk. But going back to what I saw on screen, it said 4th place in class, that 4th had a font of green, which is the LMP2 class, and the overall position that was above it said 24th overall, which is an LMP2 car. So they probably screwed up the timing....

It seems that tv coverage shows positions for second quali only,ignoring times from the first one.That's only explanation I could come with.They just showed PUG #8 as 14th or something ...

He was unlucky into Indy on the second lap, he dealt with it well, but it was enough to spoil the lap. Just unlucky, a prototype passing a GT car at the crucial moment.
McNish looked more committed through the end of the lap than that one (comedy theory alert!).

Anyway, he is in, a splash of fuel and new tyres and the #8 is going out again...
