well sometimes we can't always got everything we want, at that case Honda need to choose one of them, stay with hybrid (consequently, less competitive) or concentrate on its combustion engine (surely without hybrid, but there's a chance for this choice).

Hopefully Honda get its engine optimized and (who knows) will try to continue developing the hybrid system in the future.

Matsumoto says that the reason of no hybrid is a problem in the battery supply side.

in my opinion, the limited use of the hybrid system (at certain high rpm and number of kW) and massive additional weight also backed its decision to withdraw it.

Yes Lexus continues the GT300 effort this year with #60 Syntium LMcorsa RC F GT3 with same drivers, and it seems that the team will be the sole user of RC F GT3 at Super GT this year.

Was that discussed during Toyota's motorsport conference? I missed it if so. I know they're on the (unofficial) entry list but haven't heard anything from them.

Yes it was. Toyota Gazoo Racing included its GT300 contenders at the website, also with #60 car.

I think the car's performance is still not convincing enough to make other teams buy the car.
Well, the purpose of LM corsa RC F is to give the feedback to Toyota for the RC F GT3 development, just like Farnbacher Racing and Emil Frey Racing at VLN Nurburgring. So far, the car was inferior to its GT3 rivals at last year.
If the car shows stunning performance, at both of Super GT and VLN, it's not impossible to make other teams interested with the car.

New rules for 2016 :

1. For GT300 qualification, the top 14 at Q1 (previously 13) will advance to Q2.
2. No pit stop on safety car period until the green flag (looks like this rules comes from the pit incident at Sugo last year). If the car pit in during SC period, the car will be imposed 60-second stop-and-go penalty.
But this rule isn't applied for the cars which is still on the pitlane when the SC comes into the track.

I don't get what was so wrong with the car's pace in Super GT compared to VLN. In VLN, the car found something like 20 seconds over the course of the races it took part in. Maybe the tires? I think it ran Michelin, gt300 car ran Yokohama. Maybe it's better in VLN because the other cars are heavier than blancpain?

Kei Cozzolino is appointed to drive at Super GT with Lamborghini through GT3 Young Driver program. No any given information yet regarding the GT300 team (Direction Racing or JLOC?)

It seem that Team Studie M6 GT3 main sponsor use the last year sponsor "Steiff" , but Suzuki-san said that this year will not be use "Steiff" as the main sponsor, but why they still use Steiff logo in this year???

By the way, Team Studie mentioned that 22 February will be the second shakedown of Fuji Speedway and also they taken delivery of BMW M6 GT3, right???
